發生在 8 月 23 日美國威斯康辛州一名非裔男子 Jacob Blake 被警員連開多槍射至重傷的事件，再次引發美國多個城市抗議，傷者的媽媽在公開的記者會上說了一段話：
”I am talking to everyone: white, Black, Japanese, Chinese, red, brown. No one is superior to the other. The only supreme being is God himself.
"Ich wende mich an alle, egal ob weiß, schwarz, Japaner, Chinese, rot, braun. Niemand ist dem anderen überlegen. Das einzige höchste Wesen ist Gott selbst."
“我要向所有人說，無論是白人、黑人、日本人、中國人、紅種人或棕種人。沒有任何人比較優越，唯一至高無上的存在只有上帝本身而已。”
除了呼籲大家團結，也呼籲市民停止暴力抗議，並為美國警察及國家禱告。
